Nuit Absolue announces itself without apology: saffron and cardamom in a single breath, warm and metallic at once. The heart is rose centifolia at its most opulent — dense, powdery, regal — threaded with a resinous oud. What remains hours later is benzoin, black vanilla, and amber in a accord so close to skin it seems like memory rather than scent.
